I just got SCAL today..and its like I’m on a creative HIGH! LOL I have been playing with CDS for the past 10 mos, and I’m just thrilled with the possiblities now that SCAL has added. I’m working on some homemade Christmas gifts of some decorative tiles to hang on the walls cut with vinyl letters…so I’m on the look out for any kind of flourishes, swirls…accents like that. You can create curved text by creating word art in MS Word, saving as a web page, opening the .gif in Inkscape and then trace the path and save as .svg. It was a workaround until I figured out how to use inkscape to do it. Love SCAL and my big bug!!

Wow, finally I’ve been looking for swirl designs. I don’t know how I ever did without my SCAL software. It’s an early Christmas present for me, and as a result, everyone in my family will be getting extras because of it.

I brought my cricut last year and hardly used it. Since my husband got me Sure cuts alot for Christmas I have found myself wanting to scrapbook again.
I just recently purchased my Cricut Expression and while I was spending money, I also purchased the Sure Cuts A Lot software. I am in heaven! I can’t stop playing with my new toys. I’ve been using sure cuts software alot. I just bought my expression for Christmas and love it! love it! I use it for vinyl wall art I sell out of my home as well as local craft shows. I love the program and would highly recamend due to the fact the cartridges are highly expensive. Setting it up is the tricky part though.They don’t give you very detailed instructions. For example you have to have the correct firmware as well as having one of their cartridge in your machine at ALL times along with your USB cable connected to your computer to cut your vinyl when downloading svg files.Other then that I.ve had no problems. Thank you your site looks great!

I am in the process of trying to plan an Alice in Wonderland (Mad Hatter) party for my daughter’s 16th birthday and could use all the help I can get.
